An overabundance of embarrassing politicians, so if a future Rob Ford needs to be hidden in a room of his ilk, America is the place to blend him in.

Important hockey-related reasons: the Zamboni company is headquartered in Paramount, California, and a takeover of the United States would guarantee that the Stanley Cup is housed permanently in Canada.
